Fortescue Full-Year Net Profit Jumps Threefold

Fortescue Metals Group Ltd. declared a record half-yearly dividend of 12 Australian cents after it reined in costs and benefited from higher iron-ore prices. That’s propelled the miner’s indicative yield past that of larger rival BHP Billiton Ltd. Both BHP and Rio Tinto Group have reduced their payouts in a bid to lower expenses.
