Hollande: French Unemployment Fell Too Much, Too Soon in 2013

French unemployment figures were “too good, too soon” in 2013, making it harder to sustain a downward trajectory, President Francois Hollande said in extracts from a new book published by Le Point magazine.

In the extracts from Conversations privees avec le president (Private Conversations with the President) by Albin Michel, Hollande says that Economy Minister and possible presidential candidate Emmanuel Macron has “no political experience. Never elected." Hollande added that he has every confidence in Macron in his current ministerial role.
