Ailes Accused of ‘Judge-Shopping’ by Carlson in Sex-Bias Case

Former Fox News Channel anchor Gretchen Carlson accused her ex-boss Roger Ailes of engaging in “blatant judge-shopping” by seeking to move her sex-bias case from New Jersey to a New York federal court.

Carlson’s filing on Monday comes as Ailes, the former Fox News chairman, seeks both a transfer and an order referring the case to arbitration. While Ailes has said he lives in New York, Carlson says the case belongs in New Jersey because he has a residence in the town of Cresskill valued at more than $1.5 million.
