The Spanish recovery continues, but the nation’s labor market has a long way to go before it recoups damages inflicted by the financial crisis. While employment rose to a five-year high in the second quarter, it still falls short of the level seen before the collapse of the real-estate bubble that triggered the worst downturn in Spain’s democratic history.
