France has identified the second of two attackers who seized hostages and murdered a priest during a siege at a church in Normandy on Tuesday.

Based on DNA, the second terrorist was Abdel-Malik Nabil Petit Jean, born in November 1996, Agnes Thibault-Lecuivre, a spokeswoman for the Paris prosecutor’s office, said Thursday in a text message.

One assailant was this week identified as 19 year-old Adel Kermiche, who was under police surveillance after having attempted to get to Syria last year. Kermiche had a curfew and an electronic tag. Both the terrorists were killed by police.
