Asia-Pacific Wealth Exceeds North America for First Time

Private wealth in the Asia-Pacific region surged almost 10 percent to $17.4 trillion on stronger economies and real estate markets last year, outstripping North America, which has $16.6 trillion, for the first time. European wealth rose 4.8 percent to $13.6 trillion, while market turmoil in Brazil meant it declined in Latin America.
