Going it alone and raising rates -- highly unlikely on Wednesday -- would risk the Federal Reserve spurring the very market turmoil its policy makers have flagged as global impediments in recent months, according to Bloomberg Gadfly’s Lisa Abramowicz. The time is ripe for the central bank to be both explicit about how it evaluates risks outside of its mandate of full employment and stable prices, and open about coordination with cohorts around the globe.
