Alleged JPM Hackers Shalon, Orenstein Arrive in N.Y. for Trial

Gery Shalon, the alleged ringleader of a group of hackers behind the biggest theft of customer data from JPMorgan Chase & Co. and other U.S. financial instututions, arrived in New York from Israel and is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday, according to the U.S.

Shalon and Zvi Orenstein, an alleged accomplice, arrived after being extradicted from Israel, said Jim Margolin, a spokesman for Manhattan U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara.
