Nigerian President Buhari Travels to London for Ear Treatment

Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari will travel to London to seek treatment for a “persistent ear infection.”

Buhari’s two doctors in Nigeria referred him to an ear, nose and throat specialist in the U.K. city for "further evaluation purely as a precaution," his spokesman Femi Adesina said in a statement posted on the president’s Twitter account. Buhari, 73, came to power a year ago. He is expected to be away from office for 10 days, starting Monday.

Before it's here, it's on the Bloomberg Terminal.
