CFA Candidates Across Globe to Sit for Exam This Weekend: Chart

A record 172,682 people from 183 countries plan to sit for the Chartered Financial Analyst exam this weekend. The charter, which typically takes candidates four years to complete, is popular among financiers seeking new jobs, higher salaries or a better understanding of the market. The 10-year average pass rate improves with each phase of the three-level exam: 39 percent, 43 percent and 53 percent.
