Swiss Discuss Basic Income Just Above Poverty Level: Chart

Switzerland will vote on an unconditional basic income on June 5 that could result in a monthly stipend of 2,500 francs ($2,500). Still, that would yield an annual payout just above the 2014 poverty line. About one in eight people in Switzerland were below the level in that year -- more than in France, Denmark and Norway.
