Austrian Presidency Vote Results to Be Announced From 3:30 P.M.

Austria’s Interior Ministry plans to announce the results of the nation’s presidential election between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. in Vienna, the Austria Press Agency said, citing the ministry.

Interior Minister Wolfgang Sobotka will announce the result after the decisive absentee ballots are counted, APA said. Candidates Norbert Hofer of the populist Freedom Party and Green-backed Alexander Van der Bellen were virtually tied after regular votes were counted on Sunday.
