Brexit Risks Cut Sterling-Loan Issuance to 16-Year Low: Chart

Sales of sterling leveraged loans have slowed to a 16-year low ahead of the U.K.’s June 23 vote on whether to leave the European Union. The slump is largely due to private equity firms shunning buyouts in the country because of uncertainty about whether a Brexit will happen and what the economic effects will be.
