Kenya's Hospitality Industry Grows the Most Since 2011: Chart

Kenya National Bureau of Statistics

Kenya’s hospitality industry expanded the most since at least 2011 in the last three months of 2015, halting almost two years of decline. The data suggest travelers are returning to the East African country after a decline in the number of attacks by Islamist militants. The number of militant attacks in Kenya dropped last year to the lowest level since 2011, according to data compiled by Verisk Maplecroft, a Bath, England-based risk consultancy.
