Gold Bulls Feeling Vindicated as Fed Stymied Again: Chart

Investors betting that gold’s bull run will be sustained have more reasons to cheer after U.S. employers added the lowest number of workers in seven months in April, weakening the case for an increase in interest rates. A day before the jobs report was released, four Federal Reserve presidents said they were open to a hike in June, if economic data justified it. Low borrowing costs boost the investment allure of the precious metal against interest-bearing assets.
