Alibaba's Red-Hot Growth Cools With Slowing China

Alibaba Group Holding Ltd.’s once eye-popping growth has cooled considerably as the world’s largest e-commerce company gains scale and its Chinese home market decelerates. Revenue growth is down about a third from what it was just before its record 2014 IPO. When it reports earnings Thursday, investors will be on the lookout for ways in which the company can jumpstart the business.
