Malaysian Stock Index Pierces Through Barrier After Slump: Chartby
A closely-watched technical indicator has turned negative for stocks in Malaysia. The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI Index fell below its 200-day moving average Friday for the first time in almost a year. This comes days after the benchmark equity gauge slipped below the 50-day moving average as it headed for the steepest monthly slump since August. Inflows of foreign funds almost dried up last week after a two-month buying spree.
