Harvard Appoints Credit Suisse’s Bob Jain to Endowment Board

Harvard University appointed Bob Jain, global head of Credit Suisse Asset Management who is joining Millennium Management, to the board overseeing its $37 billion endowment, the fourth outsider added in the last year as the fund restructures.

The addition of the veteran banker and money manager brings to 12 the number of board directors at Harvard Management Co., the university’s investing arm, according to the school’s website. Jain attended his first meeting in March, according to Paul Finnegan, the board’s chairman.
