Abu Dhabi Bond Sale Doubles Gulf Arab Issuance in One Day: Chart

Debt sales from the six-nation Gulf Cooperation Council flipped from the worst start to a year since 2008 to the best in three years thanks to Abu Dhabi’s return to the market. The emirate’s first sovereign dollar-bond offering in seven years on Monday helped boost total issuance to $11.8 billion from $6.2 billion a day earlier.
