China, Japan Volatility Boost Derivatives Trade at SGX: Chart

As Singapore Exchange Ltd. struggles with securities trading, its derivatives business has come to the rescue. Southeast Asia’s biggest bourse on Wednesday reported operating revenue rose 10 percent to S$620 million ($461 million), with derivatives posting the fastest growth. Futures on China and Japan, as well as iron ore swaps, are among the most traded contracts.
