Corporate Bonds Left Out of ECB Purchase Plan Lead Gains: Chart

The biggest corporate-debt winners since the European Central Bank announced plans to enter the market are bonds it won’t be buying. Euro-denominated notes issued by companies based outside of the currency region have rallied over the past month, fueled by their higher yields and speculation that ECB purchases of locally issued debt will drive investors into foreign notes.
