British Stocks Join U.S. Shares in Erasing Annual Losses: Chart

The FTSE 100 Index finally erased its annual decline, thanks to Tuesday’s rally in miners. The gauge is now virtually flat for 2016, becoming one of just four developed markets that managed a comeback, according to data tracked by Bloomberg. Anglo American Plc has more than doubled this year, while Randgold Resources Ltd. and Glencore Plc have surged more than 60 percent, leading the FTSE 100.
