Anchorage Said to Hire Morgan Stanley Credit Trader Drew Goldman

Anchorage Capital Group hired Drew Goldman for its credit-trading business, according to three people with knowledge of the matter.

Goldman joins from Morgan Stanley where he was co-head of global flow credit trading in New York, said the people, who asked not to be identified because they’re not authorized to speak about it.

The hire comes as Anchorage’s head of credit trading Scott Goodwin departs the hedge fund.

At Morgan Stanley, Goldman shared responsibility for flow credit trading with Ed Bayliss. The U.S. lender trimmed its fixed-income business in December amid insufficient returns.

Morgan Stanley spokesman Tom Walton declined to comment. Jonathan Gasthalter, a spokesman for Anchorage, declined to comment on the appointment.

Before it's here, it's on the Bloomberg Terminal.
