22 Boko Haram Suspects Killed in Joint Nigeria-Cameroon Raids

Troops from Nigeria and Cameroon killed 22 suspected Boko Haram militants and released 1,275 hostages during a joint operation along their border on Monday, according to a press statement from Nigerian army spokesman Sani Usman.

The soldiers cleared more than 10 suspected Boko Haram hideouts and arrested three alleged commanders of the group, according to the statement.
