Burundi Bus Crash North of Capital Kills 17 People, Injures 55

At least 17 people died and 55 were injured in Burundi when a bus crashed into a ravine north of the capital, a local official said.

The accident occurred late Saturday about 20 kilometers (12.4 miles) north of Bujumbura, in the East African country’s Isare area, district manager Gilbery Niyonkuru said in an interview.
