Bosch Is `Discussing' Investment in Digital-Map Consortium HERE

Robert Bosch GmbH, the world’s biggest car-parts supplier, is considering investing in digital-map consortium HERE as part of a strategy to expand electronic offerings including automated driving.

“We’re currently discussing this,” Dirk Hoheisel, who oversees mobility technology at the closely held German manufacturer, said Friday at a press conference in Stuttgart. He declined to elaborate, saying a decision hasn’t been made.
