Banque Internationale of Congo Says Losembe Steps Down as CEO

Banque Internationale Pour l’Afrique au Congo, the Democratic Republic of Congo’s third-biggest lender, appointed Anne Mbuguje as its interim chief executive officer, replacing Michel Losembe.

“The board of BIAC met today and validated the departure of CEO Michel Losembe, who has been in the position since January 2013,” the Kinshasa-based bank said in an e-mailed statement Thursday.
