Dollar Forecasts Cut to 8-Month Low on Slow Fed Scenario: ChartBy
Forecasters are the least bullish on the dollar in eight months on speculation the Federal Reserve will refrain from tightening policy amid a darkening global growth outlook. The year-end projection for the greenback fell to $1.09 per euro, the weakest since July, according to the median estimate of analysts surveyed by Bloomberg. That would reflect about a 2 percent gain against the euro from current levels, while the estimate has plunged from a more-bullish prediction of $1.04 in January.
