It’s getting more expensive to make a cup of coffee, with the Bloomberg Softs Subindex heading for the biggest monthly jump in two years. Raw-sugar futures, which account for half of the gauge, rallied to a 17-month high on expectations for a shortage in this season and the next. Arabica coffee, which makes up a third of the index, is near the highest since October on concern that dry weather will hurt crops in Brazil and Vietnam, the top coffee growers.
