Brussels Airport to Remain Closed Friday Amid Bomb Probe

  • Airport says its unclear when passenger flights will resume
  • Forensic investigation still underway, no access to building

Brussels Airport will remain closed on Friday as terrorism investigators sift through the site seeking evidence in the twin bombing attacks a day ago that killed at least 31 people.

“Because the forensic investigation is still underway, we currently have no access to the building,” the airport said in a statement on Wednesday. “Until we can assess the damage, it remains unclear when we can resume operations.”

Before it's here, it's on the Bloomberg Terminal.
