UBS Bonuses Surge as Struggling Competitors Cut Awards: ChartBy
UBS Group AG raised its bonus pool by 14 percent in 2015, leaving it the only major European lender to award bankers with higher compensation. Deutsche Bank AG and Credit Suisse Group AG both cut variable compensation 11 percent for the year after they suffered losses. The Zurich-based bank, which relies on wealth management for most if its earnings growth, reported an increase in full-year revenue, with net income rising to the highest since 2010.
