Volkswagen's Cheaper Brand Escapes Pain of Diesel Scandal: Chart

Skoda Auto AS sales have fully rebounded since a global emissions scandal hit its owner Volkswagen AG in September. With the VW brand bearing the brunt of financial and reputational damage, the sales of the cheaper Czech cars have risen in the last three months. Skoda said on Wednesday it sold a record 1.06 million passenger cars last year and its profit rose 6.5 percent to an all-time high of 708 million euros ($786 million).
