Milk Bounce Looms as Futures Signal Second Gain of 2016: Chart

New Zealand-traded futures on whole milk powder have risen back above $2,000 a metric ton over the past few days, suggesting prices at Fonterra Cooperative Group’s global dairy auction on Tuesday could follow suit. Whole milk powder recorded its first price increase for the year at the last auction on March 1, climbing to $1,974 a ton, after sliding to its lowest level since August.
