Kenyan Lions Escape Park, Stroll in Nairobi Suburb: Capital FM

Two lionesses strayed from a Kenyan national park and were spotted in a southern suburb of the capital, Nairobi, the country’s wildlife authorities told Capital FM.

The animals were sighted around the city’s Lang’ata suburb and areas nearby, Kenya Wildlife Service spokesman Paul Udoto was cited as saying by the Nairobi-based broadcaster. “These are highly populated areas and that is why we are intensifying the search,” he said, urging anyone with further information to contact KWS.

A total of six lions strayed from Nairobi National Park on Thursday, with four of them having since been found, Capital FM said.
