Ghana Bus, Truck Collision Leaves 62 People Dead, Peace FM Says

A collision between a passenger bus and a truck in northern Ghana killed 62 people, broadcaster Peace FM reported, citing a hospital official.

An undisclosed number of victims were children, the radio station reported, citing Owusu Fosu, the medical superintendent at Kintampo government hospital.

The accident occurred on Wednesday on the Kintampo-Tamale highway in the northern region of the country.
