Deutsche Bank Signs Japan Solar Farm Loan Agreement With X-Elio

Deutsche Bank AG signed an 11.6 billion yen ($101 million) non-recourse term loan with X-Elio for the refinancing of a loan used to build a solar-power station in Japan.

The plant in Daigo Town, Ibaraki Prefecture, has been operating since August and has a 20-year power purchase agreement with Tokyo Electric Power Co., Deutsche Bank said in an e-mailed statement Monday.

Gestamp Asetym Solar SL, a Spanish solar project developer, has changed its name to X-Elio.
