National Bank of Canada Energy Banker Denis Rajotte Leaves Firm

Energy investment banker Denis Rajotte has left National Bank of Canada about a year after joining the Montreal-based firm.

Rajotte, who was a managing director in Calgary, is no longer with the lender, spokesman Claude Breton confirmed, declining further comment. The company said in March it hired Rajotte for the energy group at its National Bank Financial unit.

Rajotte was previously a managing director at Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce in Calgary. A telephone message left with Rajotte wasn’t immediately returned.
