Ireland's Messy Election May Leave Kenny Needing Help: Chart

In less than three weeks, Irish voters go to the polls to give their verdict on Enda Kenny’s government. Cantor’s poll of polls shows that his Fine Gael-Labour coalition may fall short of a majority following the Feb. 26 election. That may leave him needing the help of smaller parties or independent lawmakers to keep hold of power. The uncertainty has left the spread between Ireland and Germany’s 10-year benchmark government bonds at its widest since September.
