Same-store sales at Dunkin’ Donuts U.S. locations dropped in the fourth quarter, ending a streak of growth. The Dunkin’ Brands Group Inc.-owned chain is playing catch-up in the area of mobile technology, which rival Starbucks Corp. has used to keep customers loyal. Dunkin’ is still testing order-ahead capabilities on its mobile-phone app, as well as delivery services.
