Chinese stocks' brief moment in the sun did not last long on Thursday. Investors drove gauges to the lowest levels since the global financial crisis. Investors sold into an early rally even after the People's Bank of China injected the most cash in almost three years into the banking system.

Bloomberg's Bryan Curtis and Doug Krizner spoke with Ben Simpendorfer, Managing Director, Silk Road Associates and Julian Evans-Pritchard, China Economist, Capital Economic Asia about the state of the Chinese economy.
