Goldman Sachs Increases Pay Ratio to Most in Three Years: ChartBy
Goldman Sachs Group Inc. boosted its compensation ratio to the highest in three years as the firm reported record investment-management revenue and the most advisory fees since 2007.
The bank paid out 37.5 percent of revenue to employees in 2015, the New York-based company said Wednesday in a statement. That was the highest since 2012, when it gave out 37.9 percent. It was the first increase to the ratio since 2011, when the firm raised it to 42.2 percent from 39.3 percent the previous year.
