Oil Prices Have Never Been Cheaper Compared With Gold: Chart

By one measure, oil prices have never been cheaper.

An ounce of gold bought more than 36 barrels of crude Friday, the most in records going back more than three decades. While the precious metal has rebounded from a five-year low in December, crude oil’s retreat continued, taking prices to the lowest in 12 years.
