Bank of England Interest Rates Seen Lower for Longer: Chart

Not so fast.

Investors have shifted out their view on when the Bank of England will raise interest rates, as the U.K. economy has fallen short of the bank’s quarterly forecasts from November. GDP growth has been revised lower and wage growth pressures have been weaker, while the recent drop in oil prices is likely to further soften an inflation rebound in the coming months. The BOE will announce its decision at noon in London on Thursday.
