Nissan Beats December U.S. Sales Estimates With 19% Increase

Nissan Motor Co. increased U.S. auto sales in December by 19 percent, beating the 16 percent average estimate of analysts surveyed by Bloomberg.

Nissan brand sales rose 18 percent, while the premium Infiniti brand grew 26 percent, the Yokohama, Japan-based company said in an e-mailed statement.
