Hong Kong's November Exports Fall 3.5% From a Year Earlier

Hong Kong's exports fell 3.5 percent year on year, the government said Monday. This beat economists' median estimate of -2.8 percent year on year.

The city's imports fell 8.1 percent year on year, trade figures posted on the government's website showed. That compares with the -7.1 percent median estimate of nine economists in a Bloomberg News survey.

The trade deficit for November was HK$33.1 billion, compared to an estimated HK$35 billion.
