Four Men Have Been Arrested in Luton Terror Probe, Police Say

London police say four men were arrested outside London on suspicion of committing offenses under the Terrorism Act.

The arrests were carried out by counter-terrorism officers this morning in Luton, north of London, the Metropolitan Police Service said in a statement. The investigation isn’t connected to the recent attacks in Paris, the MPS said.

The men, who are all in their 30s, were arrested on suspicion of being involved in the preparation and instigation of acts of terrorism. Searches are being conducted at several locations in Luton, police said.
