Paris Terror Suspect Passed Into Austrian Territory, Police Say

A suspected accomplice to last Friday’s Paris terror attacks crossed into Austria from Germany on Sept. 9, the Alpine country’s police said in a statement.

The person was traveling with two other men and told police during a traffic stop that he had crossed into Austria for a vacation, the statement said. None of the individuals were identified.

Austrian police are in “close contact” with their French counterparts.
