Salini Buys Lane for $406 Million to Expand in U.S. Market

Salini Impregilo SpA, which has projects from the expansion of the Panama Canal to a new subway line in Riyadh, agreed to buy 100 percent of Cheshire, Connecticut-based Lane Industries Inc., in a deal valuing the company at $406 million, according to a statement to the Milan exchange. Shares jumped.
