Volkswagen Downgraded by Fitch on Corporate Governance Questions

Volkswagen AG’s debt was downgraded two levels by Fitch Ratings, which said the diesel-emissions testing scandal raises questions about management and internal control at the carmaker.

Volkswagen’s credit rating was reduced to BBB+, the third-lowest investment grade, from A, the debt-rating company said in a statement.
