Capital & Counties May Sell Its Venues Business After Review

Capital & Counties Properties Plc, the London developer that owns most of Covent Garden, said it may sell its venues business after conducting a strategic review.

The company in a statement Monday said it was responding to press speculation about the unit, whose main asset is the Olympia exhibition center in West London. The venues business had a book value of about 265 million pounds ($400 million) as of June, according to Capital & Counties website.
